Our monthly gathering is a drop-in, casual get together designed to inform and chat all things fly fishing. The topics each month are suggested by the folks attending.
Last month the sparrow fly was suggested. The sparrow nymph/streamer/wet fly is an impressionistic fly that suggests a number of food sources but nothing specifically. It is versatile, used for salmon, trout and even bonefish.
If you have a pheasant skin or even just the peasant rump, bring it.
