Our main fund-raising event is the bi-annual Silent Auction, usually held at the time of a regular monthly meeting. The auction features items donated by many local and national makers of fly-fishing equipment and supplies, along with guided trips and resort/lodge accommodations. Equally important, most TVFF members donate new and slightly used gear and supplies as well as time at their mountain or streamside cabins and buddy trips that result in new friendships and good fishing. Auction proceeds fund our many conservation and education programs throughout the year. These include fly fishing programs for veterans with disabilities, support of California Trout, Trout Unlimited and various conservation programs such as the Alameda Creek Alliance and Trout In The Classroom.
