Registration is closed

We are going to have the monthly "Get Together" on June 8 as Martin Plotkin has generously made available a room at the Plotkin Building. There are a few requirements that need to be met to use the facility. The entry door will need to be locked at 7pm sharp so get there a little early and hang out in the parking lot. Participants will need to sign in, be American citizens and no outstanding felony warrants. Bring a trash container (Bag, Towel) as this fly can get a little messy.

As requested, we will be tying Clousers in the delta and trout sizes. The Clouser pattern has caught more species of fish than any other pattern.

7 sharp to 9pm
1799 Portola Ave, Livermore

In these meetings we also discuss anything related to fly fishing, just drop in and bring up a subject or question.

Bring what material you have from the list below and if you don't have it all then we'll share, just like our moms taught us.

Hooks
Standard saltwater 1/0 thru 4 .... TMC9395, Mustad 34007, Gamakatsu SL12S. Freshwater 6 thru 12, a 2 or 3 long (xl) works. Really folks any hook can work except maybe a dry fly hook.

Thread
3/0 for the larger flies and 6/0 for the trout size.

Eyes
Lead or brass dumbbell eyes (large to xsmall) or bead chain for small sizes and shallow water.

Body
Bucktail, synthetic hair (slinky flash, SF flash blend, supreme hair, Faux bucktail). Colors can be too numerous to list but belly is a light color. Mostly white, and back a darker color (chartreuse, olive, tan, gray or a combination of colors).

Flash
Krystal Flash, Flashabou
