"Tag-Along" Feather River Steelhead Trip

Event Description: This trip is scheduled as a non Club sanctioned "Tag-Along" trip.  For more information contact Rob Farris for details.

Due to road access closure this trip has been re-directed to the Feather River.  Call Rob Farris for mor einfo.

We will be following Covid suggestions regarding social distancing (minimum 9' fly rod, hand washing at the cars, and masks if you do get closer than proper social distancing so bring your mask just in case.

Accommodations and Food:  

No facilities are available so you should plan accordingly with a lunch, snack, and water as we will be out all day.

Gear and Tackle Recommendations:

Rod & line weights/types: 3, 4, 56 weight rods, reels with floating lines.  

Leaders and tippet: Fishing style dependent, typically thin in the fall and usually 5 or 6X (mono or fluoro)

Other gear: Waders and boots.

Flies: Flies to match hatches that typically consist of midges, some caddis, and Mahogany Duns.
